Hunger

Hey there!  Have a lot on my mind today...the work week is almost over and I am ready for the weekend.  My Birthday weekend...long weekend due to Good Friday and Easter!  Thank you Jesus!  :)  Thank you for dying on the cross and coming back alive!  Thank you for believing in me and blessing me so much!!

Getting ready to head to church; Awana and choir practice...this leads to my current thoughts about HUNGER.  Not, hungry, ohh I need a steak, hunger, but Spiritual Hunger.  I was listening to the radio this morning...91.7 The Truth, the sister station to 88.1 The Promise.  A preacher, David Jeremiah, was preaching a message about having unrest in your heart, realizing that when the world's problems burden you, it means that you have a Hunger to know God and to learn how to be more like Jesus.  He mentioned that many Christians associate with friends and fellowship with people that have this Hunger.  The more you spend time together, the more it rubs off on you, develops in you a desire to have what they have.  I find this to be SO true.  My best friends are my fellow Christians at Fort Caroline Baptist Church.  They may not know it, (some of you are reading this now), that their love for God, their Spiritual Hunger, and devoted faith is rubbing off on me.  Thank you!!
