New Year's Resolution: Are you down with JC?

Merry CHRISTmas and Happy New Year to everyone!  It has been a super long time since I last sat down and wrote.  My life seems to have been super busy as well as taken some funky turns in the last year.  "With God, all things are possible!" Matthew 19:26

I thought I would share what I have been thinking about the past week.  As you know...teachers had 2 weeks off with the students and I have had A LOT of time to think.

The most important thing I want to share with you all is my love for the Lord and my desire to please Him.  I have, in the past 4 years, found Jesus.  (Maybe He found me!)  He makes me a better mommy, a better wife, a better friend, a better teacher...a better Becky.  I have a deep hurt in my heart for all of my close family and friends that don't have the same desires, because they (you) don't know Jesus.  As this year, 2011 comes to a close and we being a fresh new year in 2012...I pray that I can make a difference and share my Christ with everyone I meet.  This is my New Years Resolution!  Didn't He after all create us to Love Him...and share His good news?  You may call me a Jesus Freak..you may not understand...but I will strive and keep trying.

Do me a favor....I ask that you start listening to your local Christian radio station or KLOVE.  I am here to tell you..MUSIC...GOD GIFTED MUSIC....is AWESOME.  It will come into your heart and allow feelings that you didn't know you were able to feel.  This was my FIRST step in becoming a Christian...active in my faith and in my church.  The music made me want to worship God.  Now, in all I do, I want to please Him and give God the glory!  "Whatever you do in word or deed, do in the name of Christ Jesus."  Colossians 3:17
